Jinding in running to win two UDIA Awards

We’re pleased to announce two of our communities have been chosen as finalists in the prestigious Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Victoria Awards for Excellence. Our Harriott Armstrong Creek community has been named as a finalist for Residential Subdivision, while Octave at Junction Village is in the running for Marketing Excellence. Harriott has been recognised for the significant work involved in opening Crown Land that formerly housed overhead powerlines to produce a superior urban development outcome for the City of Greater Geelong and residents. This included realigning an 11,104sqm 'Green Spine' through the heart of the masterplan, within 200 metres of every home, enhancing the pedestrian and road network, and improving connectivity to shopping, sporting and educational facilities. The marketing campaign for our Octave community incorporated an agile and responsive approach to changing market conditions that employed a three-prong strategy focussed on ‘people, place and project’, which are important pillars underscoring all our developments. “Being named as a finalist for two projects in these highly regarded awards is testament to the innovative way we treat the development of each of our communities and ensure housing solutions that are sensitive to the local environment and surrounding neighbourhoods,” says Dr Andrew Ashwood, General Manager - Developments. “Our team has worked incredibly hard on both communities and we’re extremely proud their efforts have been recognised. “Harriott is a fantastic example of what can be achieved when a developer works to create value for all stakeholders, despite challenges, and leaves a meaningful legacy benefiting the community and future development. “Octave’s marketing campaign stood out because we listened closely to prospective buyers to regularly tailor our product and messaging to meet the evolving needs of the broad target market." The winners of the UDIA Victoria Awards for Excellence will be announced at a Gala Ceremony on December 1, 2023.
