Construction update

We are pleased to share that Streetworks have been appointed as the civil contractor to deliver Stages 1 and 2 at Octave Junction Village.

Works commenced onsite this week and the two stages will see the first 103 blocks of the 318 lot community delivered mid-2021.

Located approximately 50 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD, Octave is only minutes away from Cranbourne’s city centre, meaning that the boutique community will benefit from a wealth of commercial, retail, education, recreational and sporting destinations already established in the thriving regional area.

With the incredible landscape of The Royal Botanic Gardens adjoining the community, the protection of the natural flora and fauna is a key objective of the project.

Over twenty per cent of the masterplan is dedicated to parks, reserves and conservation area, reflecting Jinding’s commitment to creating a green community that is blended with its native environs and the Botanical Gardens.

The new community features a diverse selection of home sites ranging in size from 150 to 1,560 square metres. With approximately twenty-five per cent of the allotments being greater than 600 square metres, buyers have access to some of the last remaining larger blocks in the highly sought-after Cranbourne growth area. These lots are also adjacent to the Botanical Gardens, creating seamless integration from the built to natural environment.

Harmony Park will feature at the centre of Octave, including a conservation corridor of protected indigenous trees and native plants that encourage the movement of native animals of the area.

Octave at Junction Village is a great example of built and natural environment coming together. We think that this should be a key objective when planning any new community. We couldn’t be more excited to start construction on what will be one of the most unique neighbourhoods in Melbourne.

Liz Ronson – Managing Director of Jinding Developments

City of Casey Chair of Administrators Noelene Duff PSM said that the City of Casey welcomes the continued investment in the area.

The Octave at Junction Village development is evidence of continued confidence in the local housing market and means that Casey continues to offer meaningful housing choice diversity to its residents, both new and established.

Octave at Junction Village is situated in an established neighbourhood, near Botanic Ridge meaning that the existing local amenities are in place for new residents to benefit from and enjoy.

The City of Casey is committed to environmental sustainability and conservation and Octave at Junction Village developers, Jinding Developments, have submitted excellent ecological and heritage considerations into this development which will be to the long-term benefit of the community and the local ecosystem alike.
